Leomat operates throughout Kwa-Zulu Natal and has offices in Richards Bay and Durban.

Our core business is civil engineering contracting which is supplemented through building and plant hire operations.

We focuses on maintaining a comparative advantage over our competitors by providing our clients with a highly specialised professional team and innovative construction solutions.

We pride ourselves as being the preferred contractor on complex or quality driven projects.

Ownership & Management

In 2018 Leomat Durban concluded a partnership with Menston Holdings that saw it become 35% black owned. The remaining shareholding is equally shared between Arnaldo Corbella and Leo Mattioda.

Arnaldo Corbella is a professional construction manager with over 40 years of construction experience. He has a National Higher Diploma in Civil Engineering and an MBA from Edinburgh Business School.

Leo Mattioda is a professional civil engineer with over 40 years of construction experience. He has a degree in Civil Engineering.

Leomat is managed by the Managing Director, Arnaldo Corbella, and Vuyo Jali, the Director of Corporate Affairs. Vuyo has over 30 years of experience in Human Resources and Corporate services in private and government entities. She holds a BA Honours degree in Psychology as well as an MBA.
